Some interesting facts about bucks fawns that you might not have know. A buck fawn is able to breed the herd if he rubs his buttons on the top of his head. If he does not crumb the buttons, he is not able to breed. I have heard people buying breed does and a buck fawn from a different herd to breed the small herd to get started in the business. The second interesting fact about buck fawns is that they normally stay close to their mother for about 1.5 years and this is why we always see small bucks with the does when one sees a herd of deer in the wild.
